On Saturday 7th April 2018, outsourced sales and marketing experts Source Marketing Direct hosted a reflective strategy day for some of the industry’s brightest talent on board the Sunborn yacht in London.
Following on from their initial Rising Star meeting in January, the follow-up event was designed to provide some scope and outreach for the remainder of the year – addressing present and future personal goals within the hectic sales and marketing industry.
Moored at the Royal Victoria Dock, the luxury yacht – self-proclaimed as ‘uber-luxury with a twist’ – belongs to the only company in the world to successfully construct a fleet of fully functioning, first-class ‘yacht hotels’. The elaborate concept boasts elegant guest accommodation, restaurants, leisure areas, and conference facilities – the latter of which Source Marketing Direct sourced as their location for their Rising Star event.
“Our goal is to provide a time and space for meaningful reflection, and the unique environment offered by Sunborn’s yacht hotel provided the perfect atmosphere for us to achieve that,” stated Hector Montalvo, Managing Director of Source Marketing Direct.
The firm regularly hosts events and workshops similar to the one held aboard the Sunborn last weekend to reflect on their own performance and standing, in what is a hugely demanding and ever-changing industry. Hector Montalvo, Managing Director of Source Marketing Direct, is keen to utilise these events to negate concerns and hindrances to personal goals.
“A lot of people these days are worried about perception, but you’ve got to play the game with no fear, and not worry about what people might, or might not think about you. It’s part of business – no one is immune to mistakes. We want to use reflection wisely and efficiently to ensure no one is suffering from the paralysis of over-analysis,” claimed Montalvo.
Source Marketing Direct provide effective solutions for clients’ needs, resulting in an expansion of their customer base and revenues so they can stay competitive within their markets.
