Hector Montalvo, of Source Marketing Direct, travelled to New York last week where he spent 3 days networking and meeting with business partners and friends.

Managing Director of Source Marketing Direct, Hector Montalvo took time away from his office in London last week to make important business connections in the States. Mr Montalvo spent three days networking with business partners, clients and friends In New York before heading to Baltimore to attend an important awards ceremony for the US sales industry. Whilst in New York, Hector Montalvo spent a day with some clients on their private yacht where they cruised around Manhattan and visited the statue of Liberty.

Mr Montalvo then took a private plane to Baltimore where he stayed in the luxury Four Seasons hotel before attending the US Sales Awards Ceremony at the Hippodrome Theatre. The Hippodrome is an exquisite venue with a 2300 people capacity, making it the perfect setting for a large event like the sales awards where businesses and business owners travel from all over the US and other areas of the world to attend.

Source Marketing Direct’s Managing Director, Hector Montalvo was an important special guest at the sales awards who welcomed the award winners on to the stage before handing over their awards and congratulating them for their phenomenal success.

Mr Montalvo believes that the event was a huge success and was extremely inspired by the success of the US business owners. The sales industry is growing at an extreme rate, this has been proven by where the event was held this year, points out the business owner. Usually the annual sales awards are held in Philadelphia but with many more people involved in the industry this year, the venue had to be bigger and the event was therefore moved to Baltimore to be held at the Hippodrome Theatre.

The sales awards are an incredibly important event because they recognise and reward the achievements of those in the sales industry. This is vital for growth and for motivation as the sales industry can be tough and requires a lot of hard work, points out Source Marketing Direct. The award categories included: Business Owner of the Year, Rookie Business Owner of the Year, Top Sales Business, Most Improved Business and much more. There were also spot prizes handed out on the day to several lucky winners and a money grabber machine that Mr Montalvo helped with.
