Hector Montalvo saw his home baseball team, the Boston Red Sox play at the World Series at their home-ground Fenway Park. The World Series is an annual championship event of North-American-based Major League Baseball (MLB) between the American League (AL) and National League (NL) team champions. The winner is determined through a best-of-seven playoff, where two teams are put against each other for as many games needed for one team to win four games. Hector Montalvo witnessed the Boston Red Sox win their fourth game against the St. Louis Cardinals with a score of 4-2. The Boston Red Sox’s victory evened the score between both teams, making it 2-2 after 4 matches. The Boston Red Sox have won 7 of the 11 World Series tournaments they have played in, and are currently in a good position to go on and win the 2013 World Series championship at their home-stadium Fenway Park. This could be the team’s first home-win since 1918.
