Hector Montalvo of Source Marketing Direct hosted a communications meeting at the Union Street Cafe in Southwark last week to maintain trust with clients and enhance productivity and performance.
On Tuesday 01stApril, 2014, Hector Montalvo, Managing Director of Source Marketing Direct, hosted the first out of many communications meetings. Invited were 15 individuals, all members of one of the firm’s key clients’ customer support team alongside a selected number of suppliers who Source Marketing Direct work with on a regular basis.
Hector Montalvo is a frequent visitor of the Union Street Cafe which is located a stone’s throw away from his Southwark based office. The Media Room at Union Street Café is the perfect space to hold business meetings. Fitted out with state of the art technology, the intimate room is decorated with art by local artists who have captured their interpretation of London living through specially commissioned pieces, as well as reclaimed furniture pieces and light fittings. “It is a great venue and I am very excited about the progress we made at this meeting”, says Hector Montalvo. “Not only does everyone feel they are working together towards the same goals but they have developed business rapport since meeting with each other in person, an important factor of business collaboration”, adds Hector Montalvo.
The goal of last week’s meeting was to open communication channels and address performance and productivity in the coming months. “Effective communication is an essential tool to help achieve productivity and maintain strong relationships between our business, suppliers and clients”, explains Hector Montalvo of Source Marketing Direct. “It creates trust and increases the ability to support each other”, insists Hector Montalvo.
During the communications meeting at the Union Street Cafe, Hector Montalvo and his invitees defined clear goals and expectations for the coming weeks. “We realised how crucial it is to get together regularly”, says Hector Montalvo. “Things came up that we would have never thought of. Additionally, as a group of individuals we were really creative, thinking of upcoming campaigns and opportunities. From our suppliers we asked for more incentives and from our client we addressed targets to ensure we are doing what is best for the entire marketing programme.” As a result of keeping all parties involved, Hector Montalvo is expecting enhanced working relationships and a performance increase measured on actual sales. “By keeping the communication alive, I am confident that we can boost sales by over 10% this quarter.”
Source Marketing Direct are a privately owned direct sales and marketing company based in Southwark, London. The firm is constantly working to improve the services they offer to their clients. Source Marketing Direct currently accommodate their services for their clients in Greater London, Merseyside, Norfolk, Greater Manchester, Hampshire County and Scotland.
