London-based direct marketing firm, Source Marketing Direct hosted a leadership conference at the Mondrian hotel, last weekend.
On Saturday 6th February, industry leaders Source Marketing Direct hosted a leadership conference for others within the industry. The firm host leadership events once a month and this was the first of 2015. The firm takes pride in running these events because they get to help other businesses further their existing skills, teach them new skills and overall help them to become better leaders. The leadership conference was an excellent opportunity for business owners to network with like-minded business people, as well as discover new leadership techniques that they can implement into their businesses.
The leadership conference was held at the Mondrian hotel in London. The Mondrian is situated on the banks of the River Thames in the famous Sea Containers building, just a short walk from Borough Market, the London Eye, The Royal Festival Hall and Tate Modern. With great views across London, the building also hosts many modern and stylish functions that makes it the perfect venue to host a business event. There are 9 different spaces to hold events and meetings that offer space for up to 275 guests.
After the conference that covered a range of leadership topics, attendees had the chance to network with one another as Source Marketing Direct had arranged for everyone to have drinks at the Mondrian’s glamorous rooftop bar, Rumpus Room, which has a glass box structure and an outdoor terrace featuring panoramic views over London.
Later in the evening Source Marketing Direct took crew managers to a dinner at Barbecoa in St Paul’s, which is one of Jamie Oliver’s famous London restaurants. This gave the crew managers more chances to network with one another and to celebrate their achievements and new skills that they had learnt from the leadership conference.
Source Marketing Direct was extremely pleased with how the day went and feels that the conference was a huge success, with attendees making the most of their networking opportunities and planning to implement their new-found skills upon their return to their own businesses.
